Juventus Free Transfer Record Is A Good Omen For Emre Can
Whilst most of the concentration for leaving Anfield is on a certain Brazilian midfielder one of his fellow Reds could be on the verge of leaving too. For Emre Can there's a very good omen where he might be going.
Of course the eyes of the world are on the red side of Liverpool right now for two reasons. Firstly we all await Philippe Coutinho's move to Barcelona and secondly they take on city rivals Everton in the FA Cup third round tonight.
However there is more news coming out of Anfield at the moment and it's another departure with Germany international Emre Can increasingly looking likely to move from the club at the end of the season, when his contract runs out.
There has long been rumours that the former Bayern Leverkusen midfielder, who left the Bundesliga in similar circumstances, would be leaving to join Juventus on a free transfer this summer.
Now with just six months left of his contract, and able to talk to clubs abroad, Sky Italia have reported that the move to Turin is pretty much done and that's good news for the 23 year old.
Since 2009 the Old Lady have signed Fabio Cannavaro, Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba, Kingsley Coman, Sami Khedira and Dani Alves- a pretty decent group of freebies.

Cannavaro returned for just one season after his time at Real Madrid and it might not have been the greatest time in the defenders career but for a big fat zero euros that's a decent signing.
Pirlo's move to Juve was rather more successful. AC Milan thought the midfielder was past his best but he defied that thinking winning four Serie A titles with the club and helping them to a Champions League final.
Pogba made up an incredible midfield alongside Pirlo, and Arturo Vidal who only cost around £8 million, also winning four league titles before making the Old Lady a profit of around £90 million!
Coman may have only played 15 league games for Juve but he did help them to win a Serie A title and still managed to make them €30 million in the process of moving to Bayern Munich, still a bit of a success.
Having joined from Real Madrid German midfielder Khedira has gone on to win two league titles with the club and could win more silverware before his time in Turin is done.
Dani Alves might have only stayed for one season in Italy but during his time he was excellent for Juventus, helping them to yet another Serie A title and helping to propel them into the Champions League final, quite literally with his smashing goal against Monaco in the semi-final.
If Can continues this kind of success then it'll have been yet another brilliant piece of business for the Old Lady!
