Tottenham's Eric Dier is attracting interest from one of Europe's biggest clubs after his outings for England in the Euro's.

Bayern Munich are believed to be monitoring Dier after his brilliant performances for England, as well as his form for Spurs in their last campaign. The Bavarians are now managed by former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti who has reportedly inquired about the youngster, according to the Sunday People.

The 22-year-old has started in all of Roy Hodgson's line-ups during the group stage, and is expected to be named in the XI for Iceland on Monday night, even netting England's first goal of the tournament with a sublime free-kick versus Russia.

Despite beginning his playing career as a central defender, he's now made midfield his home after commanding showings in the middle of the park. The Cheltenham-native learned his trade in Portugal while at Sporting Lisbon's youth academy hence his composure and flair in the engine room of the pitch. From there, Spurs paid Sporting a measly £4 million to lure him back to England.

Though if Bayern want to acquire the services of Dier, they'll likely have to shell out a huge fee considering the new five-year-deal he signed with the North London side.

Could he be swayed back to mainland Europe?

All we say is; Won't Bayern please think of Dele Alli.
