Chelsea Offered World Class Player In January

Chelsea have reportedly been offered a world class striker in January.

Antonio Conte's side are battling on the Premier League and Champions League fronts, with the Italian potentially plotting new talent once the transfer window rolls around in January.

And it appears the club, as well as other European teams, have been put on alert.

Reports are surfacing claiming Borussia Dortmund have made Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang available in the winter window, according to the Mirror.

The Gabon striker was heavily linked with a move away in the summer, with a transfer to the Chinese Super League, Chelsea and AC Milan, among others, muted.

But no deal came to fruition as reports now suggest the club have 'had enough' of the player.

Despite his prolific season which includes 17 goals in 19 games, in all competitions, his campaign has been 'peppered with controversy' as the Bundesliga outfit are prepared to let him go.

Conte is believed to be keen on strengthening his side ahead of the second half of the season, as they continue to chase down Manchester City while mounting a challenge in the Champions League.

The club did snap up Alvaro Morata in the summer for a reported £60 million, though the addition of Aubameyang would bolster his attacking options.

Meanwhile, Aubameyang is fresh off a Ruhr derby which had the lot. Borussia Dortmund raced to a four-goal first-half lead including a goal from the man himself.

Though they surrendered the lead, with Schalke netting in the last minute to secure a dramatic point.

Aubameyang also got sent off when his side were leading. He's been plagued with incidents.
