Burnley have agreed a deal to sign Everton winger Aaron Lennon.

With the £30 million arrival of Theo Walcott confirmed earlier this week, Lennon's first-team opportunities looked hard to come by.

Premier League one-season wonders:

The search to find a new club hasn't lasted long though, with David Ornstein from BBC Sport, among others, reporting the news.

Lennon has made 63 appearances for Everton after joining in 2015, scoring seven goals in that period.

It would appear a tidy bit of business from Sean Dyche and Burnley, who fended off competition from Newcastle to secure his services.

With Lennon and Spurs loanee Georges-Kevin Nkoudou on the flanks, the high-flying Clarets now have real pace in wide area - something they were lacking previously.

As for Lennon, it's great to see him get a very good move, particularly after how he overcame his mental health problems in 2017.
