Thomas Tuchel has reportedly turned down three Premier League clubs following his sacking from Chelsea earlier this season.

The German led Chelsea to the Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup during his spell at the club but was shown the door by new owner Todd Boehly following their 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb.

Since then his name has been linked with a few jobs, namely Aston Villa, Bayer Leverkusen and even the England job, but he has since confirmed that there has been concrete interest from clubs.

Speaking on his future, Tuchel revealed that he loved his time at Chelsea and that he's currently taking a break.

“I haven’t made a decision yet,” Tuchel explained to Sport Star. “It is now time for me to take a break. Some clubs have been calling my manager but we agreed that he would not call me here for these past 18 days.”

He also spoke out on his departure from the London club as he added: “I loved every day at Chelsea. It came to an end too early for me, but it was out of my hands. This is also what you sign up for.”

When asked to recall his most memorable games at Chelsea: “There were many games that I was really happy with – the ones against Real Madrid (2-0), Atletico Madrid (2-0), Porto (2-0 and 1-0) and the final (1-0 against Manchester City).”

Before joining Chelsea, he enjoyed success at Mainz and Borussia Dortmund before taking on the Paris Saint-Germain job.

He led the French giants to the Champions League final, which was the club's first, but they fell short to Bayern Munich behind the closed doors.

A year later he found success with the Blues, thanks to a Kai Havertz goal against Manchester City to deliver his best moment as a coach to date.

Furthermore, he helped steer Chelsea through an incredibly difficult time last season when owner Roman Abramovich had his assets seized and was forced to sell the club.

Tuchel steered the club through an incredibly tough period to ensure top four football and also lost out in two domestic cup finals.
