Jack Wilshere went over two years without finding the net for Arsenal but he ended that drought in stunning fashion with a belter against BATE Borisov tonight.
The 25-year old has starred in the Europa League this season, putting in a series of accomplished midfield displays in the competition, where Arsene Wenger has largely played fringe players.
In his previous five outings, Wilshere failed to find the net but finally grabbed his goal tonight. And he did it in style.
Maybe he learnt some of that slick balance and movement from his trip to the ice-skating rink this week? Seriously though, it's a gorgeous goal from Wilshere. A couple of deft touches to set himself up, and then a rifled finish into the far corner.
Wilshere's last goal for the Gunners came 982 days ago against West Brom in 2015 and you may recall that one was also a belter.

Earlier in the game, Mathieu Debuchy also ended a goal-drought by bagging a rasping drive from outside the box, before goals from Theo Walcott, Denis Polyakov (OG), Olivier Giroud and Mo Elneny sealed a comfortable 6-0 win for Arsenal.
