There are far more creative ways out there to spend some quality bonding time with the dog, so it only made sense for one footballer to show everyone how to do exactly that.

Enter MLS star Nick Rimando, who decided to whip out the football for a bit of back-and-forth heading with his dog.
Yes, with the dog.

Entertaining, no?
Props to the dog, especially as it would put to shame most footballers with skills like that.
You have to feel for Rimando's son, though. Man's best friend puts him on the sideline for the entire exchange, but to be fair, it looks like his little mind is blown away by what he's seeing between his dad and the dog.
The Real Salt Lake 'keeper's strength doesn't lie with heading -- probably something that he doesn't do in training a lot -- as he loses his balance towards the end of the video after a Didier Drogba-style bullet header from the dog.
Rimando posted the clip on social media -- and, of course, people absolutely loved what they saw.
