Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. Replicates His Dad's Iconic Stepovers Before Ripping The Net Off With Outrageous Strike

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. Replicates His Dad's Iconic Stepovers Before Ripping The Net Off With Outrageous Strike

Ronaldo Jr. is in Manchester United's academy.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. copied his dad's iconic stepovers before scoring a lovely goal in Manchester United training. Check it out below.

The 11-year-old officially joined the Red Devils' academy setup last month and was given the number seven shirt, just like Cristiano Ronaldo Sr.

Ronaldo Jr. is now training regularly at United and new footage shared on Instagram shows the youngster enjoying himself.

After playing the ball against a wall, Ronaldo Jr. takes it in his stride and dribbles towards goal while pulling off a few stepovers.

He produces an aptly named 'Ronaldo chop' and fires the ball into the top right corner.

In a similar fashion to his father, he celebrated by shouting and running towards the camera.

Fans have reacted to the footage and they're very excited to see Ronaldo Jr. develop in the next few years.

One commented: "He has the same style as his father lol even the cut he gave there."

A second commented: "This boy reminds you of someone, doesn't he?"

While a third put: "Plays like his dad already. He's gonna be special."

Ronaldo Jr. clearly has aspirations to emulate dear old dad and his grandmother, Dolores, thinks he's already better than an 11-year-old Ronaldo.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner doesn't want to heap pressure on his first-born however and knows what it takes for him to reach the top.

He explained at 2020's Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai: "When you love the kids and they want to be like you, they cut their hair like me, do skills like me, everything.

"I see my son, look, he's 10 years old and he wants to look like me. You have a long way to do it - to be like your father but it's a pleasure. The future is the kids.

"I have four and I wish them all the best and when I see the kids, for example now in Dubai, they come to run with me they turn and say 'Siiii.'

"It makes me happy because they recognise my effort, my dedication, my hard work and I'm proud when you see stuff like that.

"This gives me the motivation to carry on and continue to do my job and play football and enjoy the fans and everyone."

Ronaldo is currently in his second stint with United and missed Sunday's 4-1 defeat to Manchester City through injury.
