Three days ago, we reported that Spain manager Vicente Del Bosque left on bad terms with legendary goalkeeper Iker Casillas following the nations Euro 2016 exit, with suggestions he sent every player a thank you letter except the former Real Madrid shot-stopper.
Now, Casillas has finally spoken out about the allegations, posting a picture of himself with Del Bosque with the caption: 'This morning in Soccer City. 25 years together and left us! A hug Mister! Luck!'
This is surely clarification that the pair have put their differences a-side, as the Spanish 'keeper wishes his former boss all the best.

Here's Iker Casillas' official Twitter post:
It was reported that Casillas did not take kindly to losing his spot to David de Gea and his captaincy to Sergio Ramos, as Del Bosque explained to Marca:
"With his teammates, he was OK, but with the coaching staff, his behaviour wasn't good. His anger (at losing his place) was directed at us.

"That's why he's the only player I didn't write to."
But after Vincente Del Boque was relieved of his duties this afternoon, it looks like Casillas has forgiven the former boss after a highly successful spell in charge of Spain.
Following a disastrous 2014 World Cup, 'La Roja' were eliminated from the European Championships after being comprehensively outclassed by Italy in the round of 16.
