As Unai Emery's men trailed 2-0 after their first-leg defeat at the Roazhon Park, the London club rose to the occasion when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the scoring in the fifth minute.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles doubled Arsenal's lead in the first half and put the Premier League side in a comfortable position. Well, that was until Aubameyang struck in the second half to complete his brace and extended their lead.

Prior to the Gunners' victory, Chelsea completed their progression to the last eight of this season's Europa League, which was done in style with a convincing 5-0 thrashing of Dynamo Kyiv.

Meanwhile, Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have made it to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
