FPL site shows what team Premier League players have picked each week, it's fascinating

James Maddison, John McGinn, Kieran Trippier and Aaron Ramsdale have all joined Fantasy Premier League this season.

A website with a ton of Fantasy Premier League content has discovered how a number of top flight players lined-up on Gameweek 1.

The guys over at FPL.page are giving Fantasy managers a heads up when it comes to data around bonus points, injury news and price changes; not to mention top 10 transfers.

On top of all the above, they also reveal which Premier League players have built an FPL team this season.

Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who calls his squad 'Saka Potatoes', has so far picked up 52 points with Marcus Rashford still to play against Wolves.

The England international picked a back three of Tariq Lamptey, William Saliba and Sven Botman for Gameweek 1, while Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah and teammate Bukayo Saka feature in midfield.

Ramsdale actually captained Brighton forward Evan Ferguson instead of Erling Haaland, who was captained by more than 5.7 million managers. Thoughts on his squad?

Newcastle defender Kieran Trippier, meanwhile, has so far picked up a very respectable 73 points after captaining England teammate Bukayo Saka.

He also included teammate Alexander Isak, who scored a brace on Sunday in their 6-1 win over Spurs, and the unstoppable Erling Haaland, who also netted twice against Burnley.

So who else has joined the FPL ranks this season? As you can see from the lengthy list HERE, a good amount of Premier League stars have made an account.

James Maddison, Jason Steele, Matt Targett, John McGinn and Harvey Barnes, who has named his team 'Unreal Madrid', feature alongside Anthony Gordon, David Brooks and Fabian Schar.

Somebody who will definitely not feature in the list at any point this season is Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday's game against Brentford, the former Brisbane Roar boss opened up on his devastating FPL news.

"I've got a few friends coming to the match. It's fair to say I've been inundated for tickets but it's great because they've been along for the journey," he said.

"We all had those dreams and we're all living it together because for me they're just part of it as well because I wouldn't be sitting here today without them.

"They're all going to be here and for the first time in I reckon 20 years I've had to pull out of our fantasy Premier League group as well which I'm gutted about and if they try to grill me for information they're getting nothing out of me.

"I don't need to play now because I am a Premier League manager. There you go, it's not a fantasy anymore!"
