Pep Guardiola is the latest Manchester City star to be filmed in an awkward interaction with the general public.
Earlier this month, Bernardo Silva was approached by a fan in the street, with footage of their slightly odd conversation going viral on social media.
Meanwhile, the unmistakable Erling Haaland was also filmed strolling around Manchester earlier this season by fans of rival club Manchester United, who told him he was on "the wrong side" of the city.

Footage has now emerged of Guardiola in an extremely awkward interaction with fans in a lift.
In the clip, two women can be heard laughing while filming the Manchester City manager, who briefly glances at the camera before turning his head away. Watch the video below:
Bizarrely, the fans don't attempt to speak to Guardiola while filming him.

But one of them says: "Oh my god, this is so funny!"
Guardiola unsurprisingly wastes no time in getting out of the lift, shooting out the doors as soon as they open.
Fans on social media have expressed their sympathy for Guardiola.
"Too cringe," posted one fan on Twitter.

"Feel so bad for the bloke, was just enjoying his day," added another.
While a third joked: "Deffo looked up the next flight to Spain as soon as he left."
It is not the first time Guardiola has been involved in an awkward interaction with a supporter in Manchester.

Back in July, a video of him being chased by a shouting fan on a bike in the centre of the city went viral.
He was spotted cycling through the centre of Manchester by an over-eager man, who proceeded to chase after Guardiola in the hope of getting a picture with the Spaniard.
The fan could be heard saying: "Aye Pep, let me get a picture bro! Yo! My man's smokin' off, yo! Aye Pep! Yo, nah nah you man need to see this! Oh my god!"
After finally catching up with him, the fan managed to convince Guardiola to get off his bike but the City boss looked far from pleased. Watch the video below:
"Yo Pep! Let me get a picture, why you running off bro, let me get a picture bro," added the fan.

"Let me get a picture, I just want a picture! I just want a picture, yo my g!"
It has clearly not been the most relaxing couple of days for Guardiola, even without his side City playing a fixture in midweek.
They return to Premier League action against Brighton on Saturday.
