Younger Brother Joins Big Brother In The Premier League

Brotherhood is littered among the history of the Premier League from the Neville's. Toure's, Ferdinand's among others, and another pairing is about to grace the Premier League.

Crystal Palace are reportedly set to snap up Christian Benteke's brother, Jonathan. Younger bro is set to sign on a free after he mutually agreed to terminate his contract with Belgian Pro League side S.V. Zulte Waregem.

Belgium outlet Het Laatse Nieuws report that Palace will indeed finalise the deal, and because the 21-year-old is a free agent he can join a new club outside the transfer window despite it shutting last night.

Big bro Christian became Palace's club-record signing following his £27 million transfer from Liverpool earlier in the transfer window and Jonathan is set to follow his footsteps.

Though, the Palace faithfuls shouldn't get too excited with the late addition as Jonathan only bagged the solitary goal in 17 appearances last season.

So, it's unlikely he'll forge a strike-force with his sibling as It's believed he'll be a part of the reserve set-up or even possibly sent out on loan immediately.
