You Can Add Another Player To The List 'Wenger Nearly Signed'

Arsene Wenger has missed out on a number of players in the past and it's mentioned during every single transfer window. Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Didier Drogba, Yaya Toure and Vincent Kompany are all names on the list and it's definitely not ending just yet.

Another player you can now add to it is Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho, after his former academy boss revealed he rejected Arsene Wenger's side for a move north of England.

Speaking to AllNigeriaSoccer, Kennedy Ezenwere said: "I picked Manchester City ahead of Arsenal not because of money. I knew if he went to Man City he had a better chance of playing there than Arsenal and I have been proved right."

A striker they could definitely do with right now.
