Cristiano Ronaldo won't like what Gary Lineker has said about him.
The Real Madrid superstar has endured an alarming dip in form this campaign following his heroics last season. He steered his side to domestic and European glory, winning the La Liga title and the Champions League.
But, this term, things aren't going so well for Ronaldo and co.
The defending Spanish champions are well behind league leaders Barcelona, and finished second to Spurs in their Champions League group, subsequently pairing up with Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16.

So, the age-old question has resurfaced; Ronaldo or Messi?
And Lineker has weighed in. He was asked: "Ronaldo or Messi?"

"I like Cristiano a lot, but Messi is from another world," the Match of the Day host replied via ESPN.
He was then quizzed again: "Ronaldo or Neymar?"
"Neymar is the future, [although] Cristiano has been very, very good. Neymar is a great player. I like him a lot."
While giving a shout out to Spurs star Harry Kane who's scoring for fun this season.

"For the future? Harry Kane, for the future" Lineker added.
Before sharing his thoughts on Real Madrid's slump.
"I don't know what happened with Madrid this season. Last year, they won almost everything.
