New Belgium boss Roberto Martinez explained the decision behind the surprise appointment of Thierry Henry as assistant manager.

When news surfaced of Henry teaming up with Martinez it came to us as quite the shock. It didn't do the rounds during the rumour mill, just straight up with the announcement.

To be honest, The Red Devils appointing the former Swansea and Everton boss was an interesting choice - to put it kindly - so, I guess, we shouldn't be too surprised with their latest recruit to the coaching staff.

The Spaniard showered the Arsenal great with huge praise in front of the assembled media. Check out the footage below:
