Chelsea have loaned players to 87 clubs in the last five seasons, with destinations ranging from Club Universidad in Chile to the Metropolitan Police.
In this season alone, the club have a total of 38 players out on loan and some believe mistakes have been made in the process, including former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.
Speaking to BT Sport, Lampard said: "They need a bigger squad. You look at the good vibes that are coming out of Manchester City and Manchester United, even Arsenal and Tottenham but it's not working for anyone at Chelsea. You can see big frustration and the upset on Conte's face.

"People talk about the young players and the ones they've loaned out but they're not near the first team yet. I've seen them and they're developing but they're not going to come in and make a difference.
During Saturday's 3-2 defeat to Burnley, many mentioned Chelsea's lack of strength in depth. The likes of Ruben Loftus Cheek, along with many others, are on loan to Premier League sides.
Now it looks like another player will be sent on loan in the coming days.
Bundesliga side Schalke have confirmed that they are in talks with Chelsea to sign defender Baba Rahman on loan.

Rahman joined Chelsea for an initial £14 million, rising to a potential fee of almost £22 million, but the Ghana international failed to make an impression at Stamford Bridge during his first season at the club, and was sent on loan to Schalke.
Now the German side want to loan Rahman for a second consecutive season.
Schalke's sporting director Christian Heidel said via their official website: "We are in talks with the player, his agent and Chelsea.

"Ultimately, it is about when Baba will be able to play again. No decision has been made yet."
