Philippe Coutinho may not be too interested in remaining a Liverpool player much longer, but the Brazilian playmaker has also requested that the club don't sell him to one team, in particular.
The former Internazionale youngster has been a long term target for Barcelona, who pursued him all summer, making several bids between £80 million-£100 million for his services. However, Liverpool stood firm and refused to sell their most prized asset.
It was reported in several outlets that Coutinho requested several times to leave Anfield and was left devastated when his dream move to the Camp Nou failed to matieralise.

However, the 25-year-old has since returned to action for Jurgen Klopp's team and has scored four goals in eight appearances so far, this term.
But Barca are not alone in their monitoring of Coutinho's situation on Merseyside. Paris Saint-Germain, fresh from spending the debt of the entire third world on Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, are interested in bringing Coutinho to the French capital and are reportedly readying an eye watering bid for the Brazilian.

Yet Ligue Un isn't a destination Coutinho is willing to entertain, and the Brazil international is believed to have informed Liverpool not to accept any offers from PSG, should any be made.
According to Sport, in Spain, Coutinho is said to be concerned that PSG's interest could scupper a move from Barca, although the Catalan club are ready to up their offer in the January transfer window.

Whether Liverpool's resolve will remain as steadfast in January as it was in the summer remains to be seen, although it looks as if the Reds have a major fight on their hands to keep the Brazilian at Anfield for much longer.
