The January transfer window is just a few days away from slamming shut, as clubs across the country look to secure signings by Wednesday's deadline.
And one player who's dominated the market is on the verge of completing a move.

Liverpool's Sturridge has been subject to intense speculation with a host of clubs heavily linked with his striking services.
While Newcastle United attempted a last ditch bid to lure him up to St. James Park, Rafa Benitez has lost the race to his signature with Sturridge set to join fellow Premier League side West Bromwich Albion.

It not only bolsters Alan Pardew's options up front but also adds a wealth of experience to his side ahead of the second half of the season.
West Brom have also fended off competition from home, and abroad. La Liga outfit Sevilla and fallen European giants Inter Milan expressed an interest in drafting him on loan.
This season, Sturridge has played just nine league games, weighing in with two goals. Though he's been blighted with injuries.

But a fully fit Sturridge is capable of banging in goals. He bagged an impressive 21 goals from 29 league games, alongside Raheem Sterling and Luis Suarez, in the 2013/14 season.
How will Sturridge fare on his return to the Midlands? Let us know.
