The Next Five Ballon d'Or Nominees Announced

France Football have released the next batch of nominees for the 2016 Ballon d'Or, following the announcement of the first five hopefuls, earlier this morning.

Sergio Aguero, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Gareth Bale, Gianluigi Buffon and Cristiano Ronaldo were the first nominees to be announced, via the French magazine's official Twitter feed, where the groups of five will continue to be revealed every two hours until 5pm, today.

And, as the clock struck 9am, the next batch of Ballon d'Or hopefuls were unveiled:
