The former heavyweight world champion went on a Canadian television channel to talk about his visit. During the interview, reporter Nathan Downer questioned his criminal past.
The reporter asked: "There's a race for mayor, we know you're a convicted rapist, this could hurt his campaign. Now how do you respond to that?"

To which Tyson replied by saying: "I don't know who said that. You're the only one I heard who said that.
"It's so interesting because you come across as a nice guy but you're really a piece of shit," he added, before saying: "F**k you. Because it's negative, and you're being negative."
When Downer mentioned that they were live, Tyson replied: "What you going to do about it?"

Downer continued the interview and asked Tyson about his upcoming show: "Is it nerve racking for you to do something like this, or is it more nervous for you to box?"
However, Tyson was in no mood to talk about his show and hit out at Downer, calling him a "rat piece of sh*t".
"It's more nerve racking for me to sit here talking to a rat piece of shit like you. No because you're a piece a sh*t, you really are. F**k you."

It isn't the first time'Iron Mike' has snapped live on air.
During an interview on Sky, Tyson was quizzed on the controversial comments he made about causing horrific damage to his opponents.
While Tyson told the presenter that he was "irritating" him with questions about his past, he felt he was being misjudged on comments he made during his heyday.
"You know what? Can I tell you something? I was a young kid then," the 'Baddest Man on the Planet' responded.

"I'm 43 years old and you're still dwelling on something that I said when I was 21 years old or 19 years old. I'm 43.
"What do you want to get from this interview? What are you trying to elicit from me?"
When he was asked if he was a different person now, Tyson responded: "Well, I don't know if I am or not. I don't wanna be the person I was, but change comes in time.
"Change comes really in time. You're irritating me now. I guess I did change because I'm not assailing you, but you're irritating me right now.
"I feel like you're evoking stuff from the past -- that stuff is 15, 20 years ago."
