Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s Sensational Highlights At 39 Shows Why He’s One Of The Best Strikers Ever

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s Sensational Highlights At 39 Shows Why He’s One Of The Best Strikers Ever

Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains in fine goalscoring form and one fan has 'proved' why he is still one of the best strikers in the world with a new compilation video.

The 39-year-old Swedish striker is currently in his second spell with AC Milan and was recently named the Serie A Player of the Month for October.

Ibrahimovic, who returned to the San Siro in January, made 20 appearances across all competitions last season and found the back of the net on 11 occasions.

And the Milan star is well on course for beating last season's haul as he has already scored eight times in eight appearances across all competitions.

YouTube user SVMM has now posted a compilation of Ibrahimovic's 'brilliance' at the age of 39 to show why he's one of the best strikers in the history of the sport.

Fans, unsurprisingly, wasted no time in praising the former Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United striker.

One YouTube commenter wrote: "He is still the best target player in the world. How many times does he loose [sic] a header, how many times does he make genius one-touch passes? There are other types of players, but in this field, he is the best. At 39. Its unheard of."

And a second fan explained: "Zlatan is an outstanding person and of course player, he truly deserves a huge respect for his level of shape that he has shown throughout [his career] and right now when he is 39, its unbelievable. I hope Milan win serie [sic] A this season and Ibra will finally get Golden ball that deserves for a long time."

A third fan said: "I think people should ignore Ibra's larger than life attitude (those who don't like it) and appreciate his abilities, statistics, exceptional career and professionalism. However, in my opinion his attitude is a big reason for his success."

While a fourth simply added: "Beyond the show and the goals, Ibra is one of the greatest professional [sic] of all time."
