As managers prepare their squads for the tournament in France this summer, some are having to call up their back ups because of injuries. And that's exactly what the Russians have had to do.

Artur Yusupov, the Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder, has been called up to Russia's Euro 2016 squad after staying in the same hotel as the squad whilst on holiday.

Imagine being on holiday and you bump into your manager who tells you you'll be representing your country at the Euros.

"This is just the way it happened. After being on holiday for 14 days, of course I am going to be a bit out of shape. I don't really know what sort of physical condition I will be in."

Although he didn't have any football boots for the training session.

"I was supposed to fly back to Moscow today. I didn't even have my football boots with me and none of the clothes that I needed."
