Dave King was spotted at Anfield for the Liverpool match on Tuesday night - and a lot of Rangers fans think he could be in Merseyside for talks with Steven Gerrard.

The Gers chairman is known to be on the lookout for a new manager, with the current interim boss at Ibrox, Graeme Murty, almost definitely being replaced in the summer.

Gerrard was originally priced around 30/1 to become the new Rangers manager before odds were slashed to 8/1 on Monday, and King's appearance at Anfield has seen a lot of bookies make the Liverpool legend odds-on favourite at 1/2.

It's worth mentioning King openly supports Liverpool, as well as Rangers, and might have just been in town for the Champions League semi-final against Roma.

But Gerrard was in the stadium too, doing punditry for BT Sport, and that has prompted some imaginations to run completely wild.

Can you see Gerrard as head coach of Rangers?
