Ronaldinho demanded that Flamengo agreed to a 'nightclub clause' when he signed for them back in 2011.
The Brazilian icon, 40, returned to his homeland after a stint with AC Milan and he was known to love the nightlife during his time in Italy.
And the former Barcelona superstar wanted that same luxury of clubbing in Brazil and made it an important request in his deal with the Brazilian side.
Ronaldinho insisted on a clause that allowed him to continue clubbing at least two nights a week -- and Flamengo agreed to his request.
The Copa America and World Cup-winning star was heavily criticised for his choice of lifestyle, despite being one of the finest players to have ever played in the sport.
Paolo, who was a season ticket holder at the San Siro, told Bleacher Report in 2017 that Ronaldinho loved to party even if the Italian side lost their matches.
"Win, lose, play well, play badly -- Ronaldinho didn't care. He would still find a party and enjoy himself long into the night," he said.
"We loved him at Milan, but he hurt himself and his career, never worried who saw him."
And former Arsenal player Alexander Hleb recently claimed that Ronaldinho and Deco would turn up to Barcelona training drunk and it forced the club to sell the pair to 'protect' Lionel Messi.
"Ronaldinho and Deco came to training drunk," the 38-year-old said.
"That's why Ronaldinho and Deco were sold in 2008. Because they were afraid that they would bring down Lionel Messi."
Jerome Leroy played alongside the Ballon d'Or winner during his time at Paris Saint-Germain and revealed that his teammate would only turn up to training once a week because of his lifestyle.
"Ronaldinho didn't train any day of the week and would just turn up on a Friday for the game on Saturday," the 45-year-old Frenchman said.
"I think he was trying to follow in the steps of Romario, who would also go out every night, but he didn't have the same success."
