Zinedine Zidane's time as Real Madrid manager appears to be drawing to a close and Los Blancos appear to have already identified a replacement for the Frenchman.

The two time Champions League winning coach has struggled in his second full season in charge at the Bernabeu, with his Real team lagging 19 points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona, in fourth place.

An early elimination from the Copa Del Rey and a difficult draw against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League have left Zidane's team staring down the barrel of a potentially hellish end to the season, which could potentially see no more silverware added to the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup, both of which were won earlier in the season.

Now, with Zidane's future in serious jeopardy, Real's board have identified the Ballon d'Or winner's successor in World Cup winning Germany manager, Joachim Low.

Low has spent 14 years in international management, leading Germany to their 2014 World Cup success in Brazil and he will aim to repeat the feat this summer in Russia. Although it may prove to be his last tournament in charge of Die Mannschaft.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Low is Real President Florentino Perez's preferred choice, with the German's philosophy and personality key factors in Perez's approval of him.

On top of Low's potential arrival, Perez may sanction a huge summer revamp of Los Blancos' squad, with reports claiming that Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and even Cristiano Ronaldo could be shown the exit door at the Bernabeu, with Neymar and Harry Kane on top of Perez's shopping list.

Be prepared for a chaotic summer in the Spanish capital.
