Kieran Tierney humiliated Shkodran Mustafi by nutmegging him in his first Arsenal training session.

The Scottish left-back made his return to full training on Thursday and he introduced himself to his new teammates by ruining Mustafi during a training drill.

Tierney was taking part in a 'Rondo' on his first training session for Arsenal and he produced a filthy nutmeg as Mustafi was sent packing while leaving the rest of the players in stitches.

The German defender tried to dispute the piece of skill with Alexandre Lacazette not having any of it.

Tierney's yet to feature for Arsenal following his £25 million transfer from Celtic. He's nursing a knee and groin injury while undergoing a double hernia operation over the summer.

He was one of Unai Emery's six summer signings and the Spanish manager says he wants quicker adaptation from his new stars.

"First we need to improve the adaptation of the different players who have come here in the last moments," he said.

"Also we need to improve in our way. For example, I think we can continue being very offensive with a lot of important offensive players.

"We also want to take the balance defensively to be strong and I think the first four matches allowed us to show our first characteristic - to be be offensive.

"Maybe we need to continue working to create a balance defensively in some moments and also tactically when making some decisions.

"But really the most important thing is how we can show our support and our energy, our spirit.

"We want to win each match but also to show them our speed, our energy playing with intensity.

"I think we are working to do that in our way, in our target of giving them a big characteristic for us. We want to play with energy."

Tierney's expected to make his Arsenal debut before the end of the month. He could don the red shirt for the first time either in the league meeting with Aston Villa or at Manchester United.

The Gunners, meanwhile, have won two of their opening four Premier League games and sit fifth in the league ahead of playing Watford on Sunday.
