Solskjaer Has Already Picked His Manchester United Team To Face PSG, Chelsea And Liverpool

Big games in three different competitions coming up for the caretaker boss.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's already picked his Manchester United team for games against Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Liverpool.

United are in the thick of three different competitions during the month of February and ahead of the grueling fixtures, Solskjaer already has his starting XI in mind.

A trick he's picked up from Sir Alex Ferguson.

"I knew the gaffer [Sir Alex] was like that," he said. "I have always been like this back home in Molde.

"You plan ahead and I have got my team quite ready for the full month. Depending on form as well, I think I have more or less picked my team.

"You have got to have different ways of winning games and with our squad you can pick players who suit this team and that team.

"Goals are scored by counterattacks, set plays and breaking teams down when they drop deep, so you need to have those three aspects."

Solskjaer has his team firing on all cylinders. He's getting the best of Victor Lindelof and Paul Pogba, not to mention Marcus Rashford whose been employed as a center forward.

The 21-year-old's bagged goals since reverting down the middle.

Pogba's producing brilliance and has arguably been the best performer under Solskjaer's reign, weighing in with goals and assists from the middle of the park.

De Gea is in typically superb form, too, thus creating a formidable spine for United.

United, meanwhile, resume their Premier League campaign against Fulham on Saturday. Then it's three huge games across as many competitions.

PSG in the Champions League, Chelsea in the FA Cup and Liverpool in the league. Make or break.
