Lionel Messi's Humble Response To Scoring His 50th Career Hat-Trick Is Very Unselfish

Lionel Messi doesn't care about stats and this video perfectly proves that sentiment.

Messi's numbers make for incredible reading. He's enjoying a ultra-prolific campaign. He's bagged a staggering 45 goals in all competitions this season not to mention recording his 50th career hat-trick earlier this year.

The Barcelona skipper netted a stunning hat-trick against Sevilla in February to record his 50th career hat-trick.

And a video has surfaced online of a Barcelona delegate asking Messi about his achievement following his brilliance back in February, and his reaction is extremely unselfish.

Messi, meanwhile, continued his goal-scoring heroics on Tuesday as Barcelona secured a spot in the next round of the Champions League.

They beat Manchester United 3-0 at the Camp Nou with the man himself netting a brace.

He now has 10 Champions League goals to his name this season. What's more, he's now scored 24 CL goals against English opposition.

The 31-year-old has scored nine goals against Arsenal, six versus Manchester City and four past Manchester United.

Messi's Barcelona are still fighting on three fronts this term. They've pretty much wrapped up La Liga and they're in the final of the Copa del Rey, with Liverpool the team they must beat to reach the Champions League final.

Will the Catalan giants complete the treble?
