Manchester City Lose Their First League Game Of The Season To Liverpool

Manchester City have tasted their first Premier League defeat of the 2017/18 season.

Liverpool were at it from the opening minute. Taking the lead in the ninth minute courtesy of a superb strike from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Though Leroy Sane drew level with the some questioning keeping from Loris Karius.

In the second half, 'Bobby' Firmino regained Liverpool's lead with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah making 3, then 4-1. Bernardo Silva grabbed a consolation late on.

Ilkay Gundogan made it 4-3.

Following the Anfield victory, Liverpool draw level with Chelsea and Manchester United on 47 points.

Though Jose Mourinho's lot entertain Stoke City on Monday night and could cut the lead at the top to 12 points.
