People Are Struggling To Watch Leicester vs Chelsea Because Of The Pitch Patterns
Leicester City were once renowned for their extravagant and almost bonkers pitch designs, but the Premier League announced in August last year that they would no longer be permitted.
The decision was slammed as many enjoyed groundsman John Ledwidge's work on the pitch. That being said, for Sunday afternoon's FA Cup tie against Chelsea, the extravagant pitch patterns returned to the King Power Stadium.
FA Cut: #lcfc have a fancy pattern on their great pitch for this #FACup tie. Wacky designs now banned @premierleague but design will apparently grow out by time of next PL game at the King Power. In case you're interested.- Henry Winter (@henrywinter) March 18, 2018
It was a rather average first half performance as the two teams struggled to make any real impact, but the controversial pitch patterns didn't go down well with many on social media.
Some suggested that the pitch markings gave them a headache, while others complained of dizziness and strained eyes.

On the other hand, might just be a smart move. Could well make the VAR's life an absolute misery.
