Thierry Henry Tells Alexis That Man City Have Almost Won The League, Sanchez Responds

Thierry Henry sat down with Manchester United's latest signing Alexis Sanchez this week.

Sanchez, who was heavily linked with a move to title rivals Manchester City for months before his eventual move to Old Trafford last month, decided against a reunion with Pep Guardiola and well, the rest is history.

In an interview with Sky Sports earlier, the Chilean actually responded to a question about the inevitable-champions in an interview with Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, saying that he came to Old Trafford "to win."

He then admitted that he left the Emirates to "develop as a player."

Sanchez then went on to claim that Manchester United are the "biggest club in England" and he only came here to win things.

"I think that Manchester United, since I was young - and I'm not just saying this because I'm here, I'm an honest guy and I never lie - I think it's the biggest club in England. That's what I think," he told Sky Sports' Thierry Henry.

"There are lots of big clubs, and having played for Arsenal, they are also one of them. It's a huge club and I was there.

"But coming here, looking at the badge, I think United have to win everything because it's such a big club. The club crest says it all."

Sanchez rejected the chance to join Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, despite the fact they are destined to win a Premier League title, and perhaps another trophy this season.

But he is convinced that United can win "everything" during his time at the club, something that fans will be delighted to hear ahead of next season:

"I came here to win [things]. I left Arsenal because I wanted to develop and learn as a player, and get to experience a new club.

"Manchester United are a huge club on the global stage. I came here to win everything. Otherwise I wouldn't have come here." Sanchez said.
