For the first time in 23 years, former Manchester United, Real Madrid and LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham is a FIFA cover star. What a time to be alive.

It was rumoured last week that the 45-year-old was set to appear on the game after being added to FIFA 21's official PC database alongside the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Joel Embiid, Dua Lipa and DJ Snake. (I know, weird right).

And in addition to those rumours, screenshots of the three different versions of Beckham's card - 87, 89 and 92 rated - emerged online alongside the right-midfielder position.

His prime meanwhile - a 92 rated card - can be played as a central midfielder and comes with plenty of impressive statistics like 87 shooting, 95 passing and 88 dribbling.

And now, after plenty of intense rumours, Becks has finally confirmed the exciting news on his official Instagram page.

"23 years later...so proud to be back on the cover..." he wrote.

Beckham, who will only have three star weak foot and skill moves on his prime 92-rated card according to leaks online, will only have 80-pace and 82-physical.

But those trademark crosses will surely be a handy tool for FIFA players around the world, as well his 95-passing and 87 shooting.

After years of waiting we will finally be able to use David Beckham in FIFA, but will he be a useable card in FUT champions? Will you be willing to spend the coins on any of his three versions?

Let us know your thoughts on Beckham's new card in the comments.
