The FA, Premier League and EFL are planning to finish the season behind closed doors in July, according to reports.
The English domestic season had been postponed until April due to the coronavirus outbreak but Football London say they are now hoping for a summer restart, with all games taking place across a four to six weeks period.
It's said that unless things get even worse over in the UK, a Saturday conference call involving all the three governing bodies and the government was held during which the plans were set.

If the league does resume in July it throws a huge spanner in the works - with a number of agents recently telling football.london that the player contract situation will be a "nightmare".
Any players out of contract this summer (June 30) would technically be unable to play unless they put pen to paper on a new deal.
The likes of Willian, David Silva, Jan Vertonghen, Pedro, Olivier Giroud and Adam Lallana are just some of the high-profile Premier League players out of contract on June 30.
In a five-step plan proposed on Twitter, Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes it's essential for temporary contract extensions to be allowed.
He also raises the point of potentially condensing the 2020/21 season should it be required.

Regarding the transfer window and how the postponement has affected the market, the Sky Sports pundit recommends opening the window in May and extending it right through to the following season.
Further information on exactly when the action will resume is set to be provided following the next Premier League meeting.
