Paul Pogba Reveals Exactly What Alexis Sanchez Told Him Before He Scored

It was a day to remember for Paul Pogba, wasn't it?

Not only did he prove his doubters wrong after a wonderful second half display against Manchester City, but the 25-year-old helped United secure a famous win at the Etihad.

Mourinho's side ruined City's predicted title celebrations as a number of players stepped up to the mark and gave fans hope - including the previously mentioned Pogba and a certain Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean has had his critics in recent weeks, but when the big occasion arrived, he duly delivered with two sublime assists.

As well as providing Paul Pogba with his second goal to make it 2-2, he swung a perfectly-weighted pass into Chris Smalling for the winner.

It was a perfect day for the former Arsenal winger.

Sanchez has only provided two assists in a single Premier League game twice in his career, and what a stage to do it on.

Shortly after the full-time whistle, Paul Pogba revealed what Alexis said to him before he bagged twice in the derby.

"I know they like to attack so we had to get forward." he told Sky Sports.

"I know when he [Sanchez] has the ball he likes to play, I saw the space and I just went. Luckily I was there. We lifted because we were 2-0 down - one goal and obviously your confidence goes up.

"Before the game he [Sanchez] said 'I see you all the time, just make the run and I will find you'"

The best is yet to come for Alexis Sanchez at Old Trafford, it seems.
