Nemanja Matic brought his son and his son's friend to meet Cristiano Ronaldo last night after Serbia's 4-2 defeat to Portugal in the Euro 2020 qualifiers.

The Manchester United midfielder waited outside the dressing room after the game with the two lucky lads and greeted Ronaldo, who was more than happy to stop for a quick chat and pose for pictures with the boys.

Matic, who has two daughters as well as his son Filip, will have scored some serious dad points in allowing his kid to be in the presence of one of the greatest footballers of all-time.

Filip also received Ronaldo's match-worn shirt from the game and proudly held it aloft.

Talisman Ronaldo was on target for Portugal in the comfortable victory last night, taking his international goals tally to 89 - 72 of which have come in official games.

His goal actually came moments after the home fans were taunting him with 'Messi' chants and he responded in the best possible fashion.

The 34-year old is known for going out of his way for his fans and revealed last year that his son Cristiano Jr regularly asks if his mates can come round and that he has to be present when they come.

In an interview via Tarek Khatib, Ronaldo said: "Yes, he also plays for Juventus, and feels the pressure and likes it.

"Sometimes he asks me: can I bring 2 Italian friends home? I tell him yes, then he says: but you must be here because they want to take a picture (laughs)."
