L'Equipe have released the ratings for last night's Champions League final and it doesn't look great on Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

The Paris Saint-Germain pair were largely ineffective as Bayern Munich claimed a sixth European Cup and their below-par performances are reflected in the ratings

French newspaper L'Equipe are notoriously harsh markers and the outlet gave both Neymar and Mbappe a 3/10 for their Lisbon showings - the joint-worst score along with right-back Thilo Kehrer.

Angel Di Maria was one mark higher after struggling to replicate the masterclass he produced on the same Estadio da Luz pitch he graced in the 2014 Champions League final with Real Madrid.

In terms of top performers, Bayern captain and shot-stopper Manuel Neuer deservedly received the highest rating of all the players involved, having being awarded a 9/10 following an imperious display in between the sticks.

The German, who has now kept clean sheets in World Cup and Champions League finals, made a string of superb saves to deny the likes of Neymar, Mbappe and Marquinhos.

Kingsley Coman was the match-winner against the side he joined as an eight-year-old, notching the only goal of the game on the honour.

The Paris-born player was given an 8/10 along with Thiago Alcantara, who ran the game from midfield as per usual. For PSG, skipper Thiago Silva was the highest-rated player with a 7/10 score in his final game for the Ligue One Champions.
