When pushing and shoving broke out between a group of Liverpool and Manchester United players during Sunday's Premier League match, overcame defender Ibrahima Konate to back up his teammates.
He did just that, swatting away both Fred and Bruno Fernandes with one arm in a show of the player's immense strength.
The incident first started with what appeared to be Cristiano Ronaldo kicking the ball aggressively at Curtis Jones while the Liverpool man was on the ground.

This saw a number of Liverpool players steam over to confront the Portuguese superstar - Konate being one of them.
As you can see from the clip below, he made light work of moving Fernandes and Fred out of the way, while also coming to the aid of teammate Andrew Robertson.

Some Twitter users couldn't help but reference the size difference between Fred and Konate - with the Brazilian doing his best to make up for the height difference.

Konate has enjoyed a relatively slow start to life at Liverpool, with Joel Matip generally being preferred to partner Virgil van Dijk at the heart of the Liverpool defence this season.
Sunday's 5-0 win will surely act as a big confidence booster for the Frenchman, as he was part of a defence that managed to keep a clean sheet at Old Trafford for only the second time since 2014.
Aged just 22, Konate still has plenty of learning and improving to do, but after facing off against Cristiano Ronaldo for 90 minutes, and not looking especially out of place while doing so, the Centre-back will surely reflect upon a solid afternoon's work.
