Jürgen Klopp Asked Who He Would Choose Out Of Cristiano Ronaldo Or Lionel Messi

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has been asked a very important question: Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi?

Oh, yes! It's that all-too-familiar question that has been brought up countless times amongst football fans.

Of course, that doesn't mean that footballers and managers haven't faced the same question, but now the former Borussia Dortmund boss has had his say on the matter.

"That's unfair again -- just like [choosing between] the Champions League or Premier League!" he told Sky Germany (via the Daily Mirror).

"But I would go with Lionel. Although I adore both!"

Both players sit on five Ballon d'Ors apiece and have had a back-and-forth competition over the award since 2008.

However, recent reports suggest that neither player will be able to break the deadlock this year, with Raphaël Varane, Luka Modrić, Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappé are the favourites to be named in the final three choices for the Ballon d'Or.

The 51-year-old German was also asked whether he would want to win the Champions League this season or lift the Premier League title.

"Liverpool didn't do it [win the Premier League] yet," he said.

"For me personally, it wouldn't make such a difference, I would like to have both, that would be my favourite option."
