If you were wondering who Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne picked in his Premier League Team Of The Season, then you've absolutely come to the right place.

A few weeks back, a day after he played a starring role in City's final day 5-0 drubbing of Watford, the Premier League's top assister sat down with SPORTbible, and using EA Sports' 'Concept Squad' feature on FIFA Ultimate Team, talked us through his selections.

The 25-year old opted to pick the exact same team he submitted when asked to pick his Team of the Year by the PFA - meaning there was no place for any of his City teammates as rules mean players are not able to choose any of their colleagues.

But still, KDB's XI is packed with star quality all over the pitch.

Watch the Belgian justify his selections in the following clip:

As you'll see in the above video, De Bruyne opted for a 4-3-3 formation, and went for Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris in between the sticks.

At the back, he picked his former Chelsea teammate Cesar Azpilicueta, instrumental in the club's title-winning campaign under Antonio Conte, at right-back despite the Spaniard figuring as a centre-back for the vast majority of the season.

The former Wolfsburg man is a big fan of Virgil van Dijk, who has been heavily linked with a move away from Southampton, and De Bruyne partnered him with his compatriot Jan Vertonghen, at centre-back - as well as picking another Spurs player in the form of left-back Danny Rose.

PFA Player Of The Season N'Golo Kante, Christian Eriksen and Philippe Coutinho make up his talented midfield trio, supporting an attacking brimming with quality.

De Bruyne's Belgian colleague Eden Hazard, who has played with since being a youngster, gets in on the left flank after a fine season at Chelsea, while Alexis Sanchez - a player KDB would welcome at City, slots in on the right flank.

Completing the star-studded team is Premier League top scorer Harry Kane, who netted a sublime tally of 29 goals in 2016/17.

What do you make of the XI De Bruyne has put together?
