Here's How Much A Neymar Jr PSG Shirt Will Set You Back

It's big money...

After his £198 million move to PSG fans was announced yesterday, shirts with 'Neymar Jr #10' on the back have been printed and stocked.

Fans are understandably desperate to get their hands on the PSG new boy's replica shirt, and we can only expect demand to be incredibly popular given Neymar's sensational switch is the biggest in football history, in many aspects.

But it seems as though anyone wanting to purchase PSG's new shirt, complete with Neymar's name and number on the back, will have to fork out considerably more than normal.

As is common knowledge, the price of football shirts these days have become steep - particularly the ones created by the leading brands.

And with Neymar's transfer being the most important in the game, the price for his replica shirt is even more expensive than the usual price Nike set.

A standard men's replica shirt, whether it be home or away, costs £64.95, and going off prices on Nike's official website, anyone wanting to have 'Neymar Jr. 10' on the back on the low-key version of the shirt will have to pay £77.95.

But PSG, like the rest of the clubs which have their kits designed and manufactured by Nike, offer a 'Vapor' version of the shirt - which is basically the same as the ones PSG stars will be wearing every matchday over the course of the season.

On its own, that shirt sets you back £99.95. And for anyone wanting to completely channel their inner Neymar by having the 'Vapor' shirt as well as his new name and number, they will have to pay an extortionate £112.95.

It's worth noting that the price would be the same if you wanted the name and number of any other PSG player on the back, but it just goes to show the huge hikes in football shirt prices in the current climate.

Even at that massive price though, both PSG and Nike will no doubt be swimming in the money, with Neymar's global appeal likely to see shirt sales go through the roof and push the Ligue One giants into the top 10 clubs for shirt sales for home shirts - a list they didn't make last term.
