While most players head to the MLS for a big pay packet and the sunnier climate, Didier Drogba has proved moving to America doesn't mean you've lost your mojo.
The former Chelsea striker has been tearing it up since joining Montreal Impact in 2015, and Drogba was at his menacing best last night as he scored a ferocious free-kick in the first minute against Orlando City.
The Ivorian not only managed to hit the ball with power, but was also able to fool the goalkeeper as his strike swerved toward the net:
Unfortunately for Drobga and his teammates, Montreal couldn't hold onto their lead and were ultimately thrashed 4-1 by Orlando, with former AC Milan and Real Madrid midfielder Kaka scored a brace.
Advert
Montreal currently sit fifth in the MLS eastern conference, seven points behind New York City.
However the Canadian side have a game in hand and travel to Philadelphia Union on Sunday.
