Santi Cazorla has handed Villarreal a fighting chance against Barcelona after burying a 35-yard wonder goal before half-time.

The Spanish champions were leading 2-0 at the Camp Nou before former Arsenal man Cazorla produced a moment of magic.

Vicente Iborra slotted the ball into the path of Cazorla, who escaped his marker and fired an absolute rocket of a strike past Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

The 34-year-old Spaniard buried the ball into the top-right corner of the net using his left foot.

And fans have flocked to social media to praise Cazorla for his incredible wonderstrike and 'weak' foot.

Barcelona took an early lead at the Camp Nou after Antoine Griezmann headed home from a Lionel Messi cross.

And the Spanish side doubled their lead as Sergio Busquets slotted the ball into the path of Arthur, who unleashed a powerful drive from outside the box and buried it into the top corner of the net.

Full-time result: Barcelona beat Villarreal 2-1 at the Camp Nou.
