"[He] made me do one drink of vodka after another."

Zlatan Ibrahimovic once passed out in a bathtub after a heavy drinking session during his time at Juventus.

The 39-year-old's eventful spell in Turin was cut short after just two seasons when they were relegated as a result of the infamous Calciopoli match-fixing scandal.

Juve were eventually stripped of their last two Scudetto titles and, despite their best efforts to try and keep him at the club, Ibrahimovic joined Inter Milan in the summer of 2006.

It was a far-from-ideal situation for Ibrahimovic and Juve, who were consequently relegated to Serie B, but during that spell, he learned a very valuable lesson -- you do not mess with vodka.

That's right. In his 2013 autobiography, the Swedish international spoke about the time David Trezeguet "made him" do a few shots of vodka after a Serie A title win. It didn't end well.

"It was the fault of David Trezeguet, who made me do one drink of vodka after another." he wrote.

"I slept in the bathtub. Now I hold my vodka much better."

Ibra, who also admitted he "hasn't been drunk too many times", then elaborated on those comments before calling his former strike partner a "snake".

"(There was) just one episode where I passed out in the bathtub after the first Scudetto with Juventus," he wrote.

"That was David Trezeguet, that snake, who egged me on to drink shots."
