Former Manchester City striker's latest career move sees him return to Corinthians in his native Brazil on a three-year deal.
The 29-year old started out with the club and made his first-team 2003 before moving to Europe with CSKA Moscow. Manchester City snapped up the striker in 2008 for what was a then club record fee of £19 million.
He scored just one Premier League goal for the club and had two loan spells with Everton and Galatasaray before returning to City for the 2010/11 season. Jo, was never a regular in the City side but did score goals in the Europa League against Red Bull Salzburg and Juventus.
Jo then returned to Brazil and had stints with Internacional and Atletico Mineiro before he dipped his toe in football in the UAE with Al-Shibab and then China with Jiangsu Suning.

He will look to get his career back on track when he returns to his boyhood club. He penned a three-year contract but will only be allowed to play for the club when 2017 rolls around.
All the best back at your old stomping ground, Jo. I still thank you for giving the opportunity to get "Jo #14" on the back of my 2008/09 home shirt.
