FC Rostov's 'Lucky Carpet' Fourth Kit Is All Kinds Of Mental
Russian side FC Rostov have revealed their new 'lucky carpet' fourth kit and it's as utterly ridiculous as you would expect.
Rostov already had three kits: home, away and a third, for the current Russian Premier League campaign. But the bizarre fourth shirt went on sale thanks to a fan bringing a carpet to the game because he was renovating his house.
On Saturday 11 August, Rostov lost 1-0 at home to Krylya Sovetov but they hosted Yenisey Krasnoyarsk this weekend, the supporter brought the carpet with him and saw his side win 4-0.

The club then invited the fan and his carpet to the training facilities for a tour but took it up a notch by showing off their new Aladdin style design and making it available to purchase for 2,500 roubles (£28.47).
Nigeria's spicy World Cup short got everyone buzzing and Rostov's outlandish strip is having a similar sort of effect:
So many questions about FC Rostov's new carpet kit but perhaps the most important is do they ship to the U.K.?! pic.twitter.com/Jz6xsWrsFI- Devarshi Lodhia (@DevarshiLodhia) August 22, 2018

FC Rostov release limited edition fourth kit inspired by fan who brought his lucky carpet to a game! :joy:- Vintagefootballshirts.com (@VFshirts) August 22, 2018
Who's ordering one? pic.twitter.com/BN9tsDo9RE
The shirt is the definition of limited edition and Who Ate All The Pies say over 500 fans have pre-ordered it from the club's website.
They might not even end up wearing but you better believe I'm weighing up investing for the wavy piece of kit - although I could probably just buy one from Carpet Right and convert it into atop.
