England were dumped out of Euro 2016 after an embarrassing display against Iceland, with the inquest in full effect.

As the team separate taking personal holidays before reuniting with their teams, It's been revealed Kyle Walker was sending text messages to Playboy model Carla Howe as he prepared for their first group stage clash with Russia.

The Spurs star was the first choice right-back as England went into their opening game, despite the enormity of the competition it appears his mind was elsewhere as he "wished" he was in Ibiza with the model.

The Sun Online reveals a conversation between two as it started with her asking "U in Ibiza?" To which he replied by saying "I wish!" Walker, as well as his teammates, come under intense scrutiny, rightly so, for their abysmal performance in the Last 16 tie. This will further infuriate England fans who have invested heavily, emotionally and financially, into the national side.

The 26-year-old is currently in a long-term relationship with Annie Kilner who have a child together, prompting Howe to lose interest after the they first met during a penthouse party. The 19-cap player made the initial contact via her Instagram page asking for her phone number before moving onto messaging service Whatsapp.

Walker has a child with his partner, as Carla found out this information she began to ignore the messages. A source via The Sun claims; "Carla found out Kyle has a girlfriend so now ignores his messages as she doesn't want it to go any further with him."

Expect the anti-England football team brigade to come out in full force with these recent developments.
