It's that time of year, again. The shortlists for the PFA Player and Young Player of the Season have been announced.

The six player shortlists have been posted on the PFA's official Twitter page in the last few minutes, with competition fierce in all categories, with the probable exception of the Premier League's Player Of The Year, where Chelsea's N'Golo Kante is the firm favourite to scoop the award, after narrowly missing out to former Leicester City teammate Riyad Mahrez, last season.

Kante is joined on the list by Manchester United's Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Spurs' Harry Kane, Everton's Romelu Lukaku, Arsenal's unsettled forward Alexis Sanchez and Chelsea teammate Eden Hazard.

On the Young Player Of The Season list sees Burnley's Michael Keane continue his phenomenal season of individual achievement by earning a place on the list, alongside Player of The Season nominees Kane and Lukaku as well as Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, Manchester City winger Leroy Sane and defending champion, Dele Alli.

The Women's Player Of The Year Award, meanwhile, will be contested by Manchester City trio Lucy Bronze, Jane Ross and Jill Scott, with Chelsea's Karen Carney, Liverpool's Caroline Weir and Birmingham City's Ellen White making up the other half of the shortlist.

Finally, the Women's Young Player Of The Year will go to one of Millie Bright (Chelsea), Jess Carter (Birmingham City), Nikita Parris (Manchester City), Georgia Stanway (Manchester City), Keira Walsh (Manchester City) and the Player of The Year nominated Caroline Weir (Liverpool).

Good luck to all of those who are nominated for each award.
