Manchester United Are Looking For Someone To Polish Their Trophies

Manchester United want someone to polish their trophies and candidates need to have a postgraduate degree.

Manchester United are hiring someone to polish the trophies in their stacked cabinet.

United are among the most successful clubs in world football, with a record 20 league titles, three European Cups, 12 FA Cups and five League Cups to their name.

And in their Old Trafford museum, the Red Devils are looking for a new employee to keep on top of the silverware and ensuring its shine does not disappear.

According to the job advert, as per The Sun, the role will see the candidate "provide essential support assisting with the organisation of the Museum’s exhibition program along with cleaning and redisplaying the permanent displays which will be major parts of the job role” among other various tasks such as "assisting with the creation of displays, collection management and dealing with public enquiries".

The ad also states an “interest in football and football history would be an advantage”, while the individual will "ideally have a museum qualification and practical experience with exhibition work".

United's museum and Stadium Tours are immensely popular and attract visitors from all over the world.

The museum also includes a whole host of memorabilia from pivotal moments in the club's decorated history since it was as Newton Heath in 1878.

Although they've dominated English football for large periods, United are currently enduring a five-year trophy drought.

Their last trophy was in May 2017 when Jose Mourinho's side beat Ajax 2-0 to win the Europa League in Stockholm.

It followed on from the EFL Cup win over Southampton a few months earlier.
