Fan 'Proves' Thierry Henry Was Overhyped With Twitter Thread

Thierry Henry is 'one of the most overhyped footballers' according to a Twitter thread from a fan who has compared the Arsenal legend to two other Premier League icons.
Last week Henry saw his record as the league's top scoring foreign player of all time taken by Sergio Aguero and according to one fan he was never that good anyway.
Comparing Henry to Wayne Rooney and Didier Drogba, @UtdChi suggested that Henry's record of scoring in big games wasn't good enough.
Thierry Henry one of the most overhyped footballers and a stat paddler! Didier Drogba and Wayne Rooney were better

In 8 seasons in England:
Henry scored once at old Trafford (lost 6-1 to Utd)
Scored once at Anfield!
Scored twice at Stamford Bridge( Both pre Abramovich era)
Definitely goes missing in big games! pic.twitter.com/HzRTFpFJp3
Henry only scored in the CL sem-final once and never in the final.

Goals in CL semi-final & final
Rooney 3 semi & 1 final goal = 4
Drogba 3 semi & 1 final goal = 4

Henry played in 9 cup finals with 0 goals! Drogba played in 10 cup finals and scored 10 goals!

He was notoriously terrible in big games! A great stat padding fraud! pic.twitter.com/BkztxhpnM9
Legends are known for their impacts in big games not against average teams!

What Drogba did against Bayern, what Rooney did for Man U after the departure of Ronaldo, are what you require against a supposed legend!
Yes, he had his moments but is just some lucky French Harry Kane
That all seems rather harsh on the Frenchman who won two Premier League titles, including one with Arsenal's Invincibles, two FA Cups and helped the side to a Champions League final.
In that time he was a runner up in the Ballon d'Or, something neither Drogba or Rooney managed, won four Premier League Golden Boots and was the Player of the Season twice.
He also scored 51 goals for France in an international career in which he lifted the World Cup in 1998 and Euros two years later.
Was Henry overhyped?
